adidas – The great Debate

What’s the greatest Germany jersey of all time? A simple question. A table full of strong opinions. “The Great Debate” brings together football legends and current stars to celebrate over 70 years of adidas × DFB history — and opens adidas’ farewell campaign as the partnership comes to an end.

For this film I stepped behind the camera for my directorial debut. Bringing together Klinsmann, Löw, Lahm and Mertesacker alongside Wirtz, Woltemade, Undav and Brandt was a logistical feat in itself. The creative challenge was making it all feel effortless: different generations, distinct personalities and iconic jerseys, brought together in one lively, tongue-in-cheek debate.
